Giveback Program
Twice a year, CCKC offers finished compost (nutrient-dense soil for your garden) to all of our curbside + bin swap subscribers. This compost is created from the food scraps YOU recycle, so we know it’s the good stuff (aka Nature’s Black Gold).

I have my bags of compost, now what?
Now for the fun part! Apply your compost to potted house plants or outdoor garden beds for a boost of fertilizer and added water retention. Make sure to use it sparingly though – compost is extremely nutrient-dense, so a little goes a long way. Spread the compost throughout the top 2 inches of topsoil to prevent overdoing it. Enjoy the wonderful benefits of healthier plants & soil!
